PumpSwap explained: graduation and trading graduated coins

PumpSwap is Pump.fun's own exchange. When a coin fills its Pump.fun bonding curve it graduates and starts trading in a PumpSwap pool. Here is how that works and how our engine trades it.

The bonding curve

Every new Pump.fun coin starts on a bonding curve: the price rises automatically as people buy and falls as they sell. The curve's reserves live on-chain, so the price can be read directly without waiting for an aggregator.

Graduation

When the curve fills (around 85 SOL of buying), the coin graduates and its liquidity moves into a PumpSwap pool. Graduation is often a busy, volatile moment, so our engine sells curve positions before it rather than holding through.

Trading after graduation

Some coins make a second run after graduating. Our Post-Grad PumpSwap Runner strategy only enters graduated coins that are holding up with steady buying, and takes profit in stages. We only trade PumpSwap pools — Raydium and Meteora pools are skipped.

Graduation strategies

Graduation Run-Up rides coins charging toward graduation, and Graduation Sprint Scalp takes a quick profit when buyers clearly outnumber sellers near the finish. See all of them on the strategies page.

Memecoin trading is extremely risky. Practice results don't guarantee future returns. Nothing here is financial advice.
